I have a deep love of animals and develop a quick rapport with them having grown up with many varieties of animals. My home is not suitable to take in other peoples pets so I am offering care in the home of the pet only which I find is far less stressful for them as they remain in familiar surroundings and whilst I am there I am happy to play with them, give them lots of cuddles and pats, I can also take them for a walk for an additional cost and I am open to any other special needs of the pet such as medications, regular brushing etc. which are included in the initial fee.

I offer once a day or twice a day home visits and always keep the pets owners updated on a regular basis as to how their precious fur babies are doing in their absence, with photos, so that they can see that they are doing well. I also empty litter trays and pick up dog poos at each visit whether that be once or twice a day and I’m happy to bring in mail and any catalogues/papers left in the yard which can be a giveaway that no-one is home.

I prefer to have a meet and greet before the petsit so that we can meet each other and so that the pet and I can meet and develop a rapport so they are not surprised with a stranger arriving in their home when they are alone. This also gives you peace of mind to see that we have a good connection and puts your mind at ease to know they will be well cared for while you are away. I understand that it is sometimes not possible to have a meet and greet due to emergency situations and I’m happy to forgo this service in these circumstances and am able to develop a good rapport with the pet in the first visit.
