Hi, I'm Nikki, a lifelong animal lover and a proud Sunshine Coast local of 40 years.

Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I have owned and cared for animals my entire life and have over 20 years of experience in pet sitting, animal care and dog walking for friends, family and local pet owners.

With a professional background spanning over 6 years in Inclusive Education and Employment and 19 years in Law Enforcement, I understand the importance of trust, reliability, responsibility and treating every family and their pets with kindness and respect. I also have a background in nursing, making me confident in administering medications and following individual care plans where required.

I have experience caring for a wide variety of animals, including:

Goats, Sheep and other livestock

Every animal has their own unique personality, routine and needs. Before caring for your pets, I like to arrange a meet and greet so I can get to know both you and your animals, understand their routine, feeding requirements, exercise needs, medications and any special instructions. This ensures they receive the highest level of personalised care while you're away.

For dog walking, I generally prefer to walk one dog at a time so each dog receives my full attention and enjoys a safe, relaxed and enjoyable walk. If your dogs are inseparable and enjoy walking together, I'm more than happy to discuss this.

As a family, we genuinely love animals. My eldest daughter enjoys coming with me to help feed animals, spend time with them and take them for walks. She dreams of becoming a veterinarian, and being involved in animal care helps build her confidence, knowledge and lifelong passion for animals.

We currently have four pets of our own, so we understand how much trust it takes to leave your beloved companions in someone else's care. To us, they are never "just pets"—they are family, and that's exactly how they will be treated.

Supporting our local Sunshine Coast community is something I'm incredibly passionate about. Whether you're working, heading away for the weekend, going on holidays, recovering from surgery, or simply need an extra helping hand, I'd love the opportunity to support you and your animals.

Availability

Monday to Sunday

Available during school holidays

Home visits, feeding, companionship and dog walking

Generally available after 3:00 pm (or 5:00 pm on some weekdays due to full-time work)

Weekend availability for morning and afternoon visits
