I've been working on and off through Pawshake since 2017 and in 2020 was preparing to house sit full time until COVID arrived and everyone cancelled. 

No matter where life takes me I get called back to dogs and here I am. Back again.

I am currently studying for a Certificate IV in Animal Behaviour and can weave in training, tricks and toys. Enrichment is my passion - personalised in a plan specific to your dogs personality and natural breed behaviours. Activities that allow them to dog in their favourite way are mentally and physically stimulating, calming and fun ! Perfect for when its too hot to walk outside, mobility issues or young pups.

Services include :

Dog Walking

60 minutes spent with your dog - Training and/or walking and/or enrichment activities.

Home Visits

45 minutes at your home each time includes feeding, home care and a 20 minute walk if required.

You will see from my reviews that I have been training and caring for dogs over a long period. I volunteered as a puppy raiser training an Assistance Dog, unfortunately due to medical reasons he had to retire and he's now my adopted best buddy. We volunteer with Story Dogs in a local school and I also support the Volunteer Coordinator.

In the past I also volunteered as a Dog Obedience Instructor with the Northern Suburbs Training and Obedience Dog Club and have worked as a Kennel Attendant. 

I’ve had lots of experience with special needs fur kids. My clients include large breeds, golden oldies, working breeds, lots of little ones and anxious souls. 

I love the way dogs are always living in the moment ! It's the simple things that makes a tail wag. 

My previous dogs were both rescue dogs. My Cattle / Staffy started me in obedience training out of necessity and it was a great achievement being awarded an obedience title.

I am available for dog training (actually it's the dog's people that need training too !) if you require it and am happy to combine it into dog walking and visits.

I have always loved pets since I was a child. I have kept and bred tropical fish, had a pet Iguana and a Water Dragon, rats, birds and of course dogs and cats.

I have washed and brushed dogs but I am not a qualified groomer.

I have a police clearance, a Working with Childrens Card, First Aid certicate and Pawshake clients that are more than happy to give a verbal reference if you require it.

I have a natural affinity with animals and owners are always suprised at how quickly their fur child warms to me. I can win over a nervous pet... Lol

I even have experience with a worm farm !
