Hi, I’m Jim and I offer friendly, reliable dog walking for all breeds in Lower Plenty and surrounding suburbs, along with in-home dog minding for dogs across Melbourne’s north-east.

After 20 years in the security industry, including running my own business, I’ve made the shift from security to working full time with dogs, something I’ve genuinely built my life around.

I share my home with two dogs, Stella (Bordoodle) and Lucky (Cavoodle), who keep life lively and have definitely influenced this next chapter. Aside from Stella and Lucky, our home is spacious enough to cater for 4 other dogs of any breed, with plenty of lounge space to play and sleep.

For the past 2 years, I've been regularly minding my family's and friends dogs who always love coming to our home, partly because of our big, beautiful enclosed backyard and warm, inviting home, as well as our local, enclosed dog parks and trails, that allows them plenty of room to run and play.

1 hour group walk: $30

Day stay: $40

Overnight stay: $60

Meet & greet process:

For all new dogs, I start with a free meet and greet to assess temperament and suitability.

For minding, this is followed by a short introductory stay (1 hour without the owner), then an overnight stay if appropriate before progressing to ongoing bookings.

All dogs must be up to date with vaccinations, flea treatment, and worming.

Caring for dogs is my full time profession and passion and I can't wait to hear from you and your pooch :)
