Hello!

We’re James and Demelza, and we’d love to look after your dog while you’re away.

We live in Currimundi on the Sunshine Coast with our Finnish Lapphund, Indi. She’s nearly five years old, has a beautiful nature, and loves every person and dog she meets. Her favourite parts of the day are morning beach walks, evening trips to the dog park, and chasing a tennis ball for as long as someone is willing to throw it.

Indi is well socialised, and because we have young children, any dogs staying with us do need to be comfortable around kids. Our boys are taught to be gentle and respectful with animals, and your dog will always be supervised around them.

Road walks are always on lead.

Beach and dog park visits are off lead only if you’re happy with that and your dog has reliable recall.

Every dog is different, and we’re happy to stick to whatever routine makes you comfortable.

We both work from home, so your dog will have company throughout the day and won’t be left home alone.

Our home is very much a family home. Dogs are treated as part of the family, not guests. They have access to both inside and outside, plenty of cuddles, comfortable places to relax, and as much play, exercise, and attention as they enjoy. We follow your feeding routines and any special instructions to help your dog feel settled while you’re away.

We know how hard it is to leave your dog with someone else. Our goal is simple. We want you to head away knowing they’re safe, happy, well cared for, and loved just as they would be at home.
