Hi I'm Laura! I'm a veterinarian at Kirrawee Vet Hospital in the Sutherland Shire. I am an animal and sport lover, who loves to read and has an active lifestyle. I have grown up with both small and large breed dogs, so am comfortable walking/caring for both. I have been house sitting both dogs and cats on and off for 5+ years. 
Regarding house sitting, it is likely my partner Mitch will also be accompanying me. As of Jan 2025 he will be an Intern at Sutherland Hospital. Together we have considerable experience house sitting. We have cared for both dogs and cats of all different sizes and energy levels. We are both responsible young adults, non-smokers and will treat your home as if it was our own. 
We are happy to walk your pets as much or as little as needed. We also happy to take them on weekend adventures/out with us if they're comfortable with that. 
We genuinely love caring for and befriending all the different animals we meet when house sitting, (and testing out the different coffee machines!). More than happy to meet up in person.

I see caring for pets very similarly to the work I currently do in aged care. In my role, I look after people’s grandparents when their families aren’t able to be there, and I understand the level of trust that comes with that responsibility. Families are placing someone they love deeply into my care, and I never take that lightly. It’s the same with pets, they are family. When someone asks me to care for their animal, I treat that responsibility with the same respect, attentiveness, and compassion that I give to the residents I support. I understand how important it is to provide not only physical care, but comfort, safety, and reassurance for both the animal and their owner. Although my formal qualifications are in nursing and caring for people, I have always had a strong passion for working with animals. I have completed paid pet sitting and animal care work through this website, caring for pets while their owners were away. I currently have an 11 year old pug and a 4 month old kitten that I just rescued. I have grown up with a variety of animals including guinea pigs, snakes, and rabbits. Hi my name is Chelsea Robinson, I'm currently 19 years old and looking to house sit and walk dogs around my area. I've always grown up with animals in my house and I've always had a warm heart for animals and looking after others animals. 
I'm currently studying for my Certificate II in Animal Care and I'm also volunteering as a part of my studying at my local Vet at Heathcote, NSW. After I have completed my 6 months of animal care at TAFE I will then do a bridging course for my Vet nursing which will go for a year and a half, after that I will be a qualified vet nurse. It would be a delight to work with your furry friends and take matters into my own hands.
I will be able to walk your pets, do day visits and staying over night. If your pets need any medications, I'm able to do so as I have experience at my local vet and know how to treat them with the right medications.

Home visits:   I can come over feed the poochie check up on your pup and if left a while can offer some play time and enrichment.
I can water any plants or check mail/parcels no issues. 

Dog walks: are for 40minutes (including pick up, leashing up, feeding etc) and are quite thorough includes walk and some obedience practicing skills on walks. But also down time to sniff and let out some energy.

Over night stays : I will be with your poochy unless I duck out for takeaway food or to go to the gym. And I'll be right back. 

Dog training: walking nicely on a leash, dog aggression (reactivity), obedience. Puppy training, crate training, separation anxiety. Etc (love my GSD doggos) training is 200$ initial consult and 40$ per session afterwards.
