Hi, I’m Maria Rodrigues, a 20-year-old with a lifelong passion for animals and their wellbeing. Growing up on a farm in Portugal surrounded by dogs, cats, horses, chickens, and livestock gave me hands-on experience caring for animals from a young age.

Today, I work with animals full-time and am currently studying Animal Care to become a Veterinary Technician, allowing me to continuously expand my knowledge and skills.🐾

I hold an Animal Care qualification and have experience understanding animal behaviour, providing enrichment, recognising signs of illness or stress, and ensuring pets feel safe, happy, and comfortable in their own environment. I pride myself on building genuine, trusting relationships with both pets and their owners through reliable communication and compassionate care.

As an added bonus, I can incorporate basic training, mental enrichment, and confidence-building activities into walks and pet-sitting visits.
