Hi! My name is Ruby, and I’m currently in my third year of studying Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Advanced Studies (Animal and Veterinary Bioscience) at USYD, with the goal of one day becoming a veterinarian. I've been a veterinary nurse at Fox Valley Animal Hospital since December 2025, and for four years I was a kennel hand at Hornsby Veterinary Hospital. I've gained valuable hands-on experience caring for animals of all shapes and sizes through my study, work and volunteering. 

I’ve looked after many animals including a wide range of breeds and temperaments, so I’m very comfortable with different personalities and care needs. I'm experienced with topical, oral and subcutaneous medications, and specific feeding requirements. 

Caring for animals is truly something I love, and I always strive to make sure they feel safe, happy, and well looked after. The only services I offer include dog walking, house visits and pet sitting.

Availability:

I work 1 day a week, and am at university half days during the week. I am always home on the weekend.
