Hello! I'm Sophie, 

I’m a genuine animal lover with a huge heart and a soft spot for absolutely anything with four legs (and even those without!). ❤️
Growing up, my dream job was to become a vet so I could spend my days helping animals. Life took me in a different direction, but I’ve found my own way to do what I love most, caring for animals and making sure they feel safe, happy and loved.

I work part-time from home, which gives me plenty of flexibility, and I’m happy to work around your needs. Whether you need someone to stay at your home, welcome your pet into mine, pop in for a visit or take your dog out for a walk, I’m here to help!

I regularly walk my neighbours’ dogs and check in on their pets throughout the day. My own little Dachshund gets two walks a day, and we absolutely love having furry friends join us. We’ve even had four dogs staying in our apartment at once — basically a doggy slumber party, and honestly, the best kind of chaos! 🐶

🐾 What I offer

Dog boarding at my home — $60 per night
A home away from home, with plenty of company, walks, playtime, cuddles and a comfy place to relax. Your dog will be welcomed as part of the family.

Doggy daycare — $50 per day
Perfect for when you're at work, busy or just need an extra pair of hands. Your pup will have company, attention, playtime, toilet breaks and walks as needed throughout the day.

House sitting at your home — $70 per night
I'd love to keep your pets happy and comfortable in their own familiar surroundings while you're away. I'll follow their usual routine, provide plenty of affection and take care of agreed household tasks, too.

Home visits — $40 per visit
For feeding, fresh water, toilet breaks, playtime, cuddles and checking that everything is okay while you're out.

Two home visits — $80 per day
Ideal for pets who need a little extra attention throughout the day, with two separate visits to keep them fed, comfortable and entertained.

Dog walking — $25 per walk (30 minutes or more depending on dog size and fitness)
Whether your dog loves a big adventure or a gentle wander to sniff absolutely everything, I'm happy to tailor walks to their age, energy and needs.

💊 Medication and Special Care

Does your fur baby need a little extra care? No problem! I'm comfortable administering tablets and liquid medications, and I also have experience caring for a diabetic dog who required insulin injections.

I understand just how important medication timing can be, particularly for pets who need doses at specific intervals, sometimes as frequently as every six hours. I'm happy to follow your vet's instructions and your pet's established routine carefully, making sure their medication is given correctly and on time.

I know that leaving a pet who has medical needs with someone else can feel daunting, so I want you to feel confident that their health and wellbeing are being taken seriously. Whether it's tablets hidden in a treat, liquid medication or prescribed injections, I'm happy to discuss your pet's individual needs before booking so we can make sure they're in safe, caring hands. 

🏡 A little about my home and availability

I live in an apartment with my very chilled-out Dachshund, so dogs staying with us need to be comfortable around other dogs and in an apartment environment. I'm happy to discuss your pet's personality and needs beforehand to make sure everyone will be comfortable.

I'm flexible with locations, routines and arrangements, and I'm happy to discuss care for dogs, cats and other pets. From playful puppies to older cuddle bugs, shy cats to little companions who need extra patience, I'd love to hear about your pet and how I can help.
