Hey, I'm Caprice, and dogs have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up in the UK and have had dogs in my family since I was five years old, including both Labradoodles and Shiba Inus. My grandparents were passionate dog owners who had up to 10 Shiba Inus at one time and were involved in judging at the prestigious Crufts Dog Show, so you could say my love for dogs runs in the family!

Since moving to Australia, one thing I've definitely missed is having a furry companion around. My home feels a little too quiet without a wagging tail, so I genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs and giving them the attention, exercise, and affection they deserve.

I work from home full time, which means your dog will have plenty of company, supervision, and attention throughout the day. I'm also someone who loves being active and enjoy starting my day with a one-hour walk before work, followed by another walk during my lunch break and again after work. This makes me a great match for dogs who enjoy regular exercise, routine, and outdoor adventures.

I offer dog sitting, dog walking, drop in visits, and overnight care. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or simply having someone around for company, I'll tailor my care to suit their individual needs and routine. I understand that every dog has their own personality, and I take the time to make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and happy.

I have experience administering medication, including antibiotics and other oral medications, and am comfortable following care instructions to support dogs with additional health needs. I also have experience caring for anxious and nervous dogs, understanding the importance of patience, reassurance, routine, and creating a calm environment to help them settle and feel secure.

I live in a ground-floor flat with a large outdoor pergola area, providing a safe space for dogs to relax and enjoy fresh air. I'm also fortunate to have plenty of parks, walking tracks, and dog friendly areas nearby, giving dogs plenty of opportunities for exercise and enrichment.

Safety and supervision are my top priorities. If I am caring for multiple dogs, introductions are always done gradually and in a controlled manner. I take the time to assess each dog's temperament, confidence level, and play style to ensure everyone is comfortable. If needed, I can provide separate spaces so dogs can relax independently and safely. I will only care for multiple dogs if the owner allows i will never care for multiple dogs without the owners permission.

As I work from home, dogs are supervised for the vast majority of the day. On the rare occasion that I need to run errands, it is usually for a short period only. During this time, dogs are left in a secure, comfortable environment with access to fresh water, bedding, and any familiar items from home. I will always discuss this with owners beforehand and ensure it suits their dog's individual needs.

In the unlikely event of an emergency, I will contact you immediately and seek veterinary care if required. Before each booking, I like to learn about your dog's routine, personality, medical requirements, triggers, and preferences so I can provide the safest and most enjoyable experience possible.

I am comfortable caring for friendly, well-socialised dogs of most breeds and sizes. During their stay, I'll provide regular updates, photos, and messages so you can relax knowing your dog is in safe, caring hands and having a great time.

My goal is simple: to provide a home-away-from-home experience where your dog feels loved, comfortable, and part of the family. Whether it's a walk, a day visit, or an overnight stay, I'll care for your dog as if they were my own. 🐾🐶❤️
