I’ve always loved caring for animals and have over five years of experience house-sitting on and off, looking after both pets and homes while their owners are away. I’ve also been a member of BorrowMyDoggy for over five years, have experience owning pets, and have volunteered at dog and cat sanctuaries in Thailand. Growing up surrounded by large rescue dogs and cats, caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. I’m comfortable with different breeds, personalities and temperaments, and I’m particularly passionate about caring for anxious or nervous dogs and pets who need a little extra patience, reassurance and attention. I understand the importance of building trust, respecting their boundaries and allowing them to settle in at their own pace. I tailor my care to each pet’s individual needs, whether that means long walks, playtime, companionship or simply providing a calm, reassuring presence. I’m happy to follow your usual feeding, walking and medication routines where appropriate, and I understand how important consistency is for pets who feel unsettled when their owners are away. Having spent years looking after other people’s homes, I’m also respectful, tidy and mindful of keeping everything safe and secure. I take the responsibility of caring for your home and beloved pets seriously, and I’ll keep you updated with regular messages and photos so you can enjoy your time away knowing they’re in good hands. I’m happy to discuss your pet’s specific needs, daily routine and any special care requirements beforehand so we can make sure they’re comfortable and well looked after.
