I am a 22-year-old international university student with a genuine love for dogs and a strong sense of responsibility when it comes to pet care. Back in Malaysia, I have a 4-year-old male Toy Poodle, and I have been fully involved in his daily care for several years. This includes preparing meals, maintaining regular walking routines, supervising playtime, and closely observing his behaviour, mood, and health. Through this hands-on experience, I have learned how to care for energetic dogs as well as dogs that require a calmer and more gentle approach.

My motivation to be a pet sitter comes from my understanding of how important it is for owners to leave their dogs with someone trustworthy, patient, and attentive. I focus solely on dog care and always aim to create a safe, comfortable, and low-stress environment. I carefully follow all owner instructions, including feeding schedules, walking preferences, and any specific routines that help dogs feel secure and relaxed.

During walks, I prioritise safety at all times by using secure leads, staying alert to surroundings, and adjusting the pace based on the dog’s size, energy level, and comfort. I am cautious around traffic, other dogs, and unfamiliar environments. In unexpected situations, such as a dog becoming anxious or overstimulated, I remain calm and handle the situation patiently to ensure the dog feels reassured and safe.

I offer dog walking and home visits, with walks typically lasting 30 to 60 minutes. Home visits include feeding, water refills, playtime, companionship, and basic care checks. I also make sure dogs are comfortable in their home environment by maintaining their usual routine as much as possible. For safety and hygiene reasons, I only accept vaccinated dogs.

Communication with pet owners is very important to me. I am happy to provide regular updates, photos, and messages so owners feel confident and at ease while their dogs are in my care. As a university student, I have a flexible schedule outside of class hours, allowing me to dedicate quality time and full attention to each dog. I am committed to being a reliable, caring, and responsible sitter that both dogs and owners can trust.
