A Bit About Me: My name is Sam I'm 19 and I love all things animals! I love animals of all shapes and sizes whether they are scaled, feathered or fluffy. I currently have two dogs, a snake and a cat all of which I absolutely adore! Availability: I am currently a student at University studying a Bachelor of Psychology, and when I am not at university I work casually as a support worker and a tutor. However I do all of my lectures online and only work on Mondays and Wednesdays, making my availability flexible. On the days I do work or university I am still able to care for your pet, just not at the specific times specified in the 'unavailability' section of my description. ☺️ Experience: I have only professionally started pet sitting this year, however prior to this year I would do pet sitting for friends and family when they would go away on a holiday. In this time, I have had several instances where Pets took oral medication and every time I was able to administer this confidently and without issue after demonstration. Your Pets: I am happy to take pets of all shapes, breeds and sizes. If your pet is nervous or skittish, I will be conscious of their space and let them come to me, or just leave them be if they don't feel like interacting with me. If your pet is excitable and in a playful mood, I will attempt to tire them out as best possible through play. If your pet is a senior, and isn't up for play, that can be traded in for some gentle pats and love! If your pet is friendly and loves a good hug, I am more than happy to give them that before I leave! My only ask is that if there is anything your pets don't like - whether it's people wearing hats, ect that triggers a negative reaction in your pet please let me know ahead of time. If your pet can be reactive in any way you will also need to provide that information ahead of time. Feel free to let me know all your pets likes as well, so I can make sure they are as best taken care of as possible! Services: I am happy to send you updates during the services! This can range from photos of your pet to brief descriptions on what they are up to! For 1x home visits during my time spent with your pet I am happy to do all of the following listed below in 2x home visits. For 2x home visits I usually spend about an hour with your pet in the morning and night, this time is dedicated to; - Feeding Pets - Administering medication (if applicable) - Doing pet related chores I.e., emptying cat litter, picking up dog poo ect. - Play/Quality time, this time will look different depending on your pet, their needs and their boundaries. For example this could look like playing fetch with your dog, spending time around your pet so they have company or giving your pets love and attention ect. For house sitting as well as all things included in 2x home visits I am more than happy to do light housework I.e., doing/hanging out washing, cleaning pet bowls ect. while I am there. Meet & Greet In the lead-up to your booking I will always advise we meet up for a meet and greet. The purpose of these meet and greets is so that your pet can get used to me, and also so you can meet me prior to leaving me with your pets! Unavailability: *Please Note* however that when booking I am happy to go before/after any shifts/university commitments. This is not to say I am completely unavailable on the following days, just that I am unavailable at these given times. Mondays: 9:30am-1:30pm (Support Work) Tuesdays: 10am-4pm (Uni Contact Day) Wednesdays: 2:30pm-6:30pm (Tutoring) In Case of Emergency; If anything at any point is to go wrong during the service you will be contacted immediately. If I am at all concerned about the health of your pet, they will be rushed to the nearest vet and you will be contacted immediately. Please feel free to contact me if you have any further questions!
