Hi, I'm Ava! Animals have become one of the biggest passions in my life. I didn't grow up with pets, which made finally having my own even more special. Since then I've dedicated myself to learning about animal care and behaviour, and I've been lucky enough to work in both pet retail, doggy daycare and complete my Animal Studies Cert II. Through these roles I've cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities, including reactive dogs, and I'm confident reading body language and adapting my approach to each individual pet.

I believe every pet is unique, so I tailor my care to suit their needs, routine and personality. Whether your pet loves long walks, quiet companionship, playtime or mental stimulation, I'll make sure they feel safe, happy and well cared for. Enrichment is always included through games, training, scent work or other activities to keep your pet mentally and physically stimulated.

I offer dog walking, home visits and overnight house sitting for dogs and cats. During our meet and greet we'll discuss your pet's routine, and if you're working on training or managing reactivity, I'm happy to continue those routines where appropriate. I also provide home visits for fish, reptiles (including snakes) and other small pets, as I have experience caring for a wide variety of animals.

Overnight stays include a 45–60 minute walk for dogs, with longer walks available on request for an additional fee. I'm also confident administering medication when clear instructions are provided and will always follow your pet's routine as closely as possible.

In the unlikely event of an emergency, I'll act quickly in your pet's best interests while following any emergency instructions you've provided and keeping you informed every step of the way.

I work full-time, so home visits are generally available before or after work. Depending on distance and scheduling, I may also be able to provide two visits per day by prior arrangement. My goal is to give you complete peace of mind while you're away, knowing your pets are being cared for with patience, kindness and genuine enthusiasm.
