I’m originally from Mexico and hold a Bachelor’s in Veterinary Medicine (from Mexico). I live with my husband, our daughter (15) and son (19

), plus a small female Chihuahua and a male cat who also goes outdoors. I host small dogs only in our family home and keep things calm, kind and safe.

What I offer

Home boarding / daycare (small dogs only): one household at a time (up to two small dogs from the same family)

House visits (at your home): great if you prefer your dog stays in their own space; also happy to visit cats

20–30 min or 45–60 min visits

Feeding, fresh water, toilet break/short walk, play and cuddles

Light tidy of pet areas / litter scoop, bring in mail, quick home check

Meds given as prescribed by your vet

Dog walking: standard 30-min walks (60-min on request)

Every booking includes:

Feeding and fresh water as you ask, enrichment (puzzle toys, gentle cue practice), light grooming (brushing, quick wipe-down, eyes/ears), and daily photo/video updates. Vaccinated pets only (flea/tick/worming up to date).

Medication & health (legal and safe)

I can give owner-provided oral/topical medicines and owner-provided injections (e.g., insulin) exactly as prescribed by your vet and shown on the label/plan.

I don’t diagnose, prescribe, change doses, give sedatives/anaesthetics, or do vet-only procedures.

Please bring the vet-labelled meds, a simple dosing plan, and your vet’s contact. I keep brief notes after each dose.

Home setup

Family household: husband, daughter (14), son (18)

Resident pets: small Chihuahua (female) and a cat who goes outdoors

Dogs must be used to living with cats (no chasing or fixating). I can separate spaces with baby gates/doors and rotate yard time so everyone stays relaxed.

Sleeping: your dog can snooze in their bed in the lounge, in my bedroom, or crated if that’s their normal

Secure outdoor area; gates locked and checked each outing; dogs supervised outside (I don’t leave them alone in the yard)

Walks & routine

Standard 30-minute walks (60-minute on request), adjusted for age, weather and fitness

Most pups enjoy 1–2 walks a day plus play and rest

I study/work from home part-time, so I plan my day around your dog’s needs

Supervision & alone time

I follow platform rules: during boarding, dogs are not left alone more than 3 hours; during daycare, not more than 1 hour

I’m home most of the day; any outings are short and planned

If your dog needs near-constant company, tell me—we can arrange it

Bookings & what to bring

Weekdays: days and evenings; weekends/holidays: with notice (limited spots)

Bring food, lead/harness, bed/crate, favourite toys, and any meds

We’ll do a Meet & Greet to cover routine, allergies, triggers, and an emergency plan

Updates in English or Spanish

Good to know

Small dogs only for hosting; house visits available for dogs and cats

Must be cat-friendly and okay around a small dog

No bitches in heat; please advise any allergies, fears or triggers
