I genuinely love animals. Dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, reptiles — pretty much anything with a little personality has a special place in my heart.

Dogs in particular are basically my people. I could happily spend an entire day playing with one, going for walks, throwing a ball, exploring outside, or just hanging out together. But I also absolutely love cats, and I understand that they have a very different way of showing affection.

One thing that matters a lot to me when caring for an animal is letting them be themselves. I never want to force a dog or cat to like me, cuddle me, or interact with me before they’re ready. I’d rather give them space, pay attention to their body language, and let their personality unfold naturally. Some animals will run straight into my arms; others need time to decide whether I’m worthy of their trust. I’m completely happy with either.

I think the best kind of pet care is when an animal feels safe, comfortable, and free to be themselves — not like they’re simply being “looked after.”

At the same time, I take the responsibility very seriously. I’m attentive, reliable, clean, and have plenty of common sense. When you leave your pet with me, I understand that you’re trusting me with a member of your family. And when I stay in your home, I know I’m also being trusted with your space and belongings. I treat both with care and respect.

I don’t have formal professional experience as a pet carer, but I’ve had a lifetime of hands-on experience with animals: dogs, cats, lizards, rabbits, turtles, ducks, and fish. I’ve also learned quite a bit from two vets I’ve dated, including how to perform CPR on cats and dogs, how to safely give my diabetic cat twice-daily injections, and how to recognise and respond to a seizure. I’m not a vet and would never pretend to be one — but I’m comfortable staying calm and responsible when an animal needs extra care.

I’m happy to commute anywhere within Sydney and stay overnight in your home, so your pet can remain in the environment they already know and feel comfortable in. As of now I have FULL AVAILABILITY. Anytime, anywhere. I normally am more available during the evening and night rather than mornings.

Most importantly, I genuinely want to get to know each animal — their weird little habits, favourite games, moods, routines, and all the things that make them uniquely themselves.

And if your pet and I become friends, I’ll probably be the one who has a harder time saying goodbye. 🐾
