I was born in the UK and have been living in Australia for the past 8 years. I work as an environmental consultant, so caring for nature, animals, and the spaces we live in is something I genuinely value, both professionally and personally. I work from home full-time and have my own car, which means I’m flexible with location and can spend the majority of the day at home to provide consistent, attentive care for your pets rather than leaving them alone for long periods.

I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life. I grew up with dogs, cats, rabbits, fish, and other small pets, and my degree had a strong focus on animals and environmental systems. I’m now a proud cat owner myself, with two cats who have taught me the importance of routine, patience, and understanding animal behaviour. I’m very mindful of how changes to routine or environment can affect pets and always aim to keep things feeling familiar and calm.

My priority is always keeping pets comfortable, relaxed, and happy in their own environment. I’m confident with feeding routines, administering medications if required, walks, playtime, litter and waste management, and maintaining familiar schedules. Dog walks are always tailored to the individual pet’s needs, energy levels, and owner preferences, whether that’s shorter, relaxed walks or longer outings for more active dogs.

Because I work from home, pets are rarely left alone during the day, and if I do need to step out briefly, I make sure this aligns with what the pet is used to and comfortable with. I’m calm, attentive, and observant, and I take the time to notice changes in behaviour, appetite, or mood.

In the event of an emergency or concern, I act promptly and responsibly. I follow owner instructions carefully, am happy to liaise with your preferred vet, and will keep you informed immediately with clear updates. Having my own car allows me to respond quickly if transport is ever needed.

I’ve used pet care and house sitting websites for my own animals, so I understand how important it is to feel confident leaving your home and pets in someone else’s care. I’m organised, tidy, and respectful, and I treat homes as if they were my own. I keep things clean, secure, and well maintained, and I’m reliable with time management and responsibilities.

I communicate clearly and am happy to provide regular updates and photos while you’re away so you can feel completely at ease.

I’m Brisbane-based, flexible with dates, and where possible, I’m always happy to meet in person prior to caring for your animals to ensure everyone feels comfortable and confident.
