Hi, I’m Manu! I’m a Conservation Science student at the University of Queensland and a lifelong animal lover. I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and currently have two family dogs in Colombia: a lovable mixed-breed rescue and a very energetic Australian Shepherd, so I’m comfortable with both relaxed cuddle-bugs and high-energy dogs that need plenty of exercise and stimulation.

I also have hands-on experience working with animals through my university studies, pre-veterinary training, and wildlife and zoo-related work. This has taught me how to read animal behaviour, stay calm in new situations, and adapt my care to each pet’s personality and routine.

For dog walks, I’m happy to do short potty walks (15–20 minutes), standard walks (30–45 minutes), or longer exercise outings depending on your dog’s age, energy level, and needs. During walks I use secure leash handling, avoid unsafe situations, and make sure pets stay hydrated and comfortable, especially in Brisbane’s warmer weather.

I can also help with feeding, administering basic medications (if prescribed), playtime, enrichment activities, brushing, litter or toilet routines, and overnight companionship. Whether your pet is shy, senior, high-energy, or simply loves attention, I’ll take the time to make them feel safe and cared for.

I know how important it is to trust the person looking after your pet, so I’ll always keep you updated with photos, videos, and messages while you’re away. My goal is simple: to make sure your pet feels happy, safe, exercised, and loved — just like they would with their own family. 🐾
