Hello! We’re a child-free couple in Stafford Heights with a warm, welcoming home and plenty of affection to share. Having recently said goodbye to our two much-loved dogs, we’re excited to open our hearts and home to your furry family member.

We know how important it is to find someone you trust with your dog, and every pup who stays with us is treated like one of our own. 🐶💕

I hold a degree in Counselling and work alongside Queensland Health in the homelessness sector, bringing patience, compassion, and reliability to every dog in my care. My partner works a fly-in, fly-out roster, and I have the flexibility to work from home and can often bring dogs to my pet-friendly office, meaning your pup will enjoy plenty of company throughout the day.

Your dog will have access to a secure, fully fenced backyard, a doggy door, and lots of indoor comfort. Our home is two storeys, so dogs will need to be comfortable using stairs and be fully toilet trained.

🐾 What Your Dog Can Expect During Their Stay 🐾

We provide a relaxed, affectionate, family-style environment where dogs are treated as part of the household. Our previous dogs enjoyed free access to the home, plenty of cuddles on the couch, and being involved in our daily routines—and we love offering the same experience to the dogs in our care.

☀️ Weekdays
Most mornings start with outdoor time in our secure, fully fenced yard, followed by breakfast and plenty of attention. I work part-time (3.5 days per week) and have the flexibility to work from home or bring suitable dogs to my pet-friendly workplace. When my husband is home, he is home full-time and provides companionship throughout the day.

While some weekdays may require your dog to spend up to 7 hours alone, we do our best to minimise this wherever possible through flexible work arrangements. This means our home is best suited to dogs who are comfortable being left alone for short periods when necessary.

🌿 Evenings & Weekends
Evenings are all about relaxation, companionship, and quality time together. Expect plenty of affection, couch cuddles, and time spent with us around the house or on our deck.

Weekends are generally quiet and relaxed. If you’re comfortable with it, your dog may join us on outings such as local markets, walks, or dog-friendly adventures. Otherwise, they’ll enjoy a calm weekend at home with lots of attention and enrichment.
