🐩🩶🐾 ABOUT ME

I am a devoted animal lover who has owned and provided love and care for dogs all my life. Having recently farewelled my two beloved toy poodles who lived long, happy lives to the age of 16, I am now living in a pet-free household (with my husband and adult daughter), but we miss having their energy around! I truly believe our pets are family and I provide a calm, attentive and loving environment where they can feel completely at home.

🐩🩶🐾 CARING

I work from home (I write children’s books), which means your dog will have constant supervision, companionship, and care throughout the day. I am available seven days a week for dog boarding and doggy daycare, walks, and home visits, and I’m always happy to tailor my routine to suit your dog’s individual needs.

My daily routine includes regular walks and time outdoors, with access to lovely local parks nearby. Because I’m home most of the day, I can provide a relaxed, flexible schedule, whether your dog prefers playtime, gentle strolls, or simply a quiet place to rest.

🐩🩶🐾 OUR HOME

My home in Greenwich on Sydney’s Lower North Shore is safe and pet-friendly, with both a fully fenced backyard and front yard. There are some stairs, but these can easily be sectioned off if needed. Dogs are welcome on furniture and will be treated as part of the family.

I generally prefer small to medium-sized dogs, particularly those who enjoy a calm and loving home environment.

🐩🩶🐾 MY EXPERIENCE 

I have decades of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all ages — from energetic puppies to senior and geriatric dogs requiring extra patience and support. I’m confident with administering medication and attentive to health needs. I’m also well-versed in grooming, including brushing, bathing, and dental care such as cleaning teeth.

I also regularly care for pets belonging to friends, neighbours, and family, and I understand how important it is to trust someone with your dog. You can expect clear communication, regular updates, and the peace of mind that I will treat your pet with the same level of care, attention, and affection as if they were my own.

🐩🩶🐾 DOGGY DAY CARE

• 8 hours of TLC at my home (flexible)

• Includes at least 2 walks and of course a lot of playtime and cuddles.

• I take them with me everywhere, they are not left home alone.

• You will receive lots of photos with updates.

🐩🩶🐾 HOUSE VISITS

• 30 minutes (flexible)

• I will pop by on the agreed time for a check-in, feed, water top-up and cuddles.

• I love plants and I will gladly water them if requested.

🐩🩶🐾 DOG WALKS

• 30 minutes (flexible)

• I will take your best friend for a walk in your area or to the closest park for a romp around.

🐩🩶🐾 SLEEPOVERS 

• 24 hours of TLC at my home (flexible)

• Includes at least 3 walks per day and of course a lot of playtime and cuddles.

• I take them with me everywhere, they are not left home alone.

• You will receive lots of photos with updates.
