I’m Sophie, I’m 27 years old and originally from Ireland. I work in marketing events, but my number one passion has always been animals. My love for dogs started when I was a child growing up with a Labrador, and it’s only grown stronger over the years. Back home in Ireland I have two Golden Labradors and two rescue cats, so I’m very used to caring for both dogs and cats and understand how important they are as part of the family.

I currently live in St Kilda in a one-bedroom apartment with my boyfriend. The area is very safe and extremely pet-friendly, with lots of lovely walking routes, parks and open spaces nearby that are perfect for dog walks and outdoor play.

What motivates me as a pet sitter is the genuine joy I get from spending time with animals and making sure they feel happy, safe and loved while their owners are away. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always aim to give them the same level of care and attention I would want for my own pets.

Through growing up with dogs and cats and caring for my own pets, I’ve gained strong experience in feeding, walking, playtime, companionship and understanding different personalities and needs. I have experience with a wide range of breeds and sizes, including Labradors, Schnauzers, Bernese Mountain Dogs, Great Danes, and Irish Wolfhounds. I’m confident with puppies, senior pets, and animals who need a little extra patience and reassurance. I’m calm, patient, loving and reliable, and I truly believe animals deserve the best care and kindness possible.

Availability
I am available mornings, afternoons and evenings, with very flexible scheduling to suit you and your pet’s routine.

I offer dog walking, home visits and house sitting. My services include feeding, walking, playtime, companionship and lots of love and attention. Your pet’s comfort, safety and happiness always come first. I am happy to follow any specific instructions or routines you have in place.

Home Visits
Home visit times are completely flexible and depend on your needs. Whether you need a quick 1-hour visit or someone to stay for the whole day, I can accommodate. During visits I can:

• Walk your dog

• Feed pets

• Play and provide enrichment

• Give cuddles and companionship

• Water plants and bring in mail if needed

Dog Walking
Dog walks are tailored to each dog. The length, pace and location depend on your dog’s age, energy levels and preferences. I always put your dog’s needs first and make sure they feel safe, comfortable and happy on every walk.

House Sitting
For house sitting, I can stay as long as needed. I treat your home with respect and ensure your pet stays relaxed and well cared for while you’re away. I’m happy to follow any routines, keep your home secure and give you regular updates for peace of mind.
