Hi! I'm an animal lover who has grown up with pets my whole life, including dogs, cats, rabbits, and hamsters. Caring for animals has always come naturally to me, and I genuinely love getting to know each pet's unique personality and routine. I've looked after a range of pets, including a full-grown Husky during a two-week stay, as well as providing home visits for cats while their owners were away.

I currently offer dog boarding, doggy daycare, dog walking, and home visits. I care for one family's pets at a time, so your pet receives my full attention in a calm, low-stress environment. While I don't administer medication, I'm happy to follow your pet's usual feeding routine, provide plenty of fresh water, toilet breaks, playtime, cuddles, enrichment, and lots of love and attention throughout the day.

I have flexible work arrangements and spend most of my time at home, so pets are rarely left alone for more than two hours. My partner lives with me and works full-time as a carpenter, so during the day it's usually just me and your pet. This allows me to provide lots of companionship, supervision, and a consistent routine. I can closely supervise guest pets throughout the day and overnight while they're staying with me.

I enjoy spending time outdoors and live just a four-minute walk from the beach and seven minutes from beautiful local gardens, making it easy to provide enriching walks in safe environments. I generally offer one to two walks each day, depending on your dog's age, energy levels, and usual routine. Typical walks are around 30–60 minutes, but I'm always happy to tailor this to suit your pet's individual needs.

I understand that every pet has a different temperament. Some love constant attention, while others need a little more time and space to settle in. I take a calm, patient approach and always let pets build trust at their own pace. Their comfort and emotional wellbeing are just as important to me as their physical care.

Your pet will be treated as part of the family while they're here and is welcome inside the home. They can sleep wherever they feel most comfortable, whether that's in their own bed, a crate if they use one, or another sleeping arrangement that matches what they're used to at home.

Safety is my top priority. My backyard is securely enclosed for most dogs, however there are a couple of small gaps in the fence. Because of this, I never leave visiting pets unsupervised outside. Dogs are always accompanied in the yard, and if I feel there's any possibility they could fit through a gap or are likely to try escaping, they'll be kept on lead outdoors or exercised on walks instead.

In the unlikely event of an emergency, I would contact you immediately, followed by your nominated emergency contact if needed. If urgent veterinary care was required, I would take your pet straight to your preferred vet where possible, or the nearest emergency veterinary clinic, while keeping you updated every step of the way.

My goal is to make your pet feel safe, loved, and completely at home while you're away, giving you peace of mind knowing they're being cared for as if they were my own.
