Hi! I'm Camila, a qualified veterinarian from Argentina with professional experience as a veterinary nurse in Melbourne. Animals have been my whole life and my career, so caring for your pet isn't just a job for me, it's what I love doing every day.

What makes me different is my clinical background. I'm confident giving oral medications, eye and ear drops, and injections such as insulin, monitoring pets with ongoing health conditions, and recognising early signs that something isn't right. I've cared for anxious dogs, seniors, cats on prescription diets and dogs with heart conditions, so you can relax knowing your companion is in experienced hands.

I run my pet sitting business together with my partner, Federico (Fede). He's caring, reliable and great with animals, and he often joins me on walks and house sits. Between the two of us, your pet always has someone they know and trust looking after them.

Where care takes place: all my services happen at your home. I don't host pets at my place, so your pet stays in their own familiar environment, with their usual food, bed and routine.

What I offer: 

• Home visits (30 or 60 min): I'm with your pet for the whole visit: feeding, fresh water, litter cleaning, playtime and cuddles, plus any medications they need. 
• Dog walks (30 or 60 min): I pick your dog up from home and we explore Elwood and St Kilda, including the Elwood foreshore, Point Ormond Reserve, Elsternwick Park and Catani Gardens. I walk one household's dogs at a time, so your dog gets my full attention. Dogs stay on lead unless you confirm they have reliable recall and give me permission. 
• House sitting: I stay overnight at your home, keeping your pets company in the evening, overnight and in the morning, and following their needs.   
• Vet nurse extras: nail trims, ear cleaning, anal gland expression and basic grooming (extra cost).

Availability: I have flexible availability for most of the day, seven days a week, including early mornings, evenings and weekends. Just send me a message with your dates and I'll confirm quickly.

Please note: Pets needing very intensive care (frequent medication, wound care or round the clock monitoring) are welcome, though pricing may vary.
