Hi, I’m Qiao Zhang, but you can call me Jo! I live near Albert Park in Melbourne and work part-time from home, with a flexible schedule.

Animals have been part of my life since childhood. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, squirrels, turtles and fish. I enjoy learning each pet’s personality and routines, and giving them patient, attentive care.

I offer home boarding, doggy day care, home visits and dog walking:

Boarding and day care: Your pet will stay with me in my quiet two-bedroom apartment. I provide companionship, fresh water, feeding according to your instructions, playtime and toilet breaks. For dogs, I provide a total of one hour of walking each day, adjusted to their needs and energy levels. Drop-off and pick-up times are agreed before booking.

Home visits: Each visit lasts 30–60 minutes and includes feeding, fresh water, litter cleaning or toilet breaks, and companionship and play. We’ll agree on the visit duration before booking.

Dog walking: Walks last 30–60 minutes, depending on your dog’s needs and the duration agreed before booking.

I live alone and have no pets of my own. My apartment is best suited to small and medium-sized pets who are comfortable indoors. Dogs staying with me should be reliably toilet-trained, and other pets should use a suitable litter tray or enclosure. Please discuss any chewing, scratching, separation anxiety or other needs with me before booking.

For pets staying at my home, please provide their usual food, bedding and any necessary supplies. We’ll also discuss how long your pet can comfortably be left alone and whether my schedule suits them.

I’ll send photo updates during their care. A meet and greet is a lovely opportunity to get to know each other and make sure we’re a good match.
