Hi, I’m Brian! I recently relocated from Ireland to St Kilda and would love to help local pet owners with dog walking, home visits and house sitting.

I’ve grown up with dogs and currently have two family dogs back home in Ireland — Milo, a Golden Retriever, and Lexi, a Cockapoo. Having dogs as part of my family has given me years of experience with their everyday needs, including walking, feeding, playtime, companionship and looking after them responsibly.

Since arriving in Melbourne, I’ve also started gaining paid pet-care experience through Airtasker. Most recently, I completed a morning dog-walking booking with a large Poodle, taking him for a one-hour walk and making sure he had plenty of exercise and attention while remaining safely on-lead.

On the same day, I completed a separate daytime house-sitting and dog-care booking from 9am–5pm. The dog had recently returned home following a stay at the veterinary hospital, so he needed a quieter day with someone there to keep him company and look after him rather than lots of exercise. I spent the day with him, monitored him, kept him comfortable and followed his owner's instructions. This experience reinforced how important it is to adapt my care to the individual dog rather than treating every booking the same way.

For dog walking, I tailor walks to your dog's age, fitness, temperament and normal routine. I’m comfortable with both larger and smaller dogs and will always prioritise safety, including keeping dogs securely on-lead where required and following any specific instructions from their owner.

For home visits, I can provide feeding, fresh water, toilet breaks, walks, playtime and companionship. I’m also happy to send photos and updates so you can see how your pet is getting on.

For house sitting, I understand that you're trusting me with both your pet and your home. I'll follow your pet's normal routine and any instructions you provide, while keeping doors, windows and gates secure and leaving your home clean and tidy. I can provide regular updates and photos throughout the booking for additional peace of mind.

I’m responsible, punctual and respectful of other people's homes. I’m also happy to arrange a meet-and-greet before a first booking so I can learn about your pet's personality, routine, feeding, exercise requirements and any medical or behavioural considerations.

Between growing up with my own dogs and now gaining paid experience caring for dogs here in Melbourne, I understand how much trust is involved in leaving your pet with someone else. My priority is to make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable and well cared for while you're away.
