Hi! I’m Andrea, a 26-year-old Spaniard who has been calling Australia home for the past two and a half years.

Back in Spain lives one of the loves of my life: my 10-year-old Maltese, who I miss more than I’d like to admit! Growing up, animals were always part of my family. Over the years I’ve had dogs, cats, rabbits, hamsters and budgies, and I’ve also cared for chinchillas and plenty of other little furry (and feathered!) personalities, both in Spain and here in Australia.

Since moving to Australia, I’ve regularly helped friends with pet sitting, and now that I live with my partner and we have a home of our own, I’d love to welcome some new four-legged friends into it too. 

We live in a spacious 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom apartment on the 38th floor, with plenty of room for pets to relax and make themselves at home. We also have a lovely balcony with beautiful views. For safety, pets are never left on the balcony unattended — they can only enjoy it while we’re outside with them and under our supervision.

We’re very close to Albert Park, the river and the Botanic Gardens, so there are plenty of lovely places nearby for walks, sniffing adventures and outdoor time. I normally offer 30–60 minute walks, depending entirely on your dog's age, energy levels and usual routine. If your dog needs shorter toilet walks, longer adventures or multiple walks throughout the day, I’m happy to adapt.

One of the biggest advantages of staying with me is that I work from home every day and have a very flexible schedule, so your pet will have plenty of company throughout the day. I genuinely love having animals around while I work, whether that means a dog sleeping next to my desk, a cat supervising my emails from the sofa, or taking little walk breaks together.

Because I work from home, pets are rarely left alone. If I do need to pop out for groceries, the gym or an errand, it would normally only be for 1–2 hours, and I’m happy to adapt this for pets who aren't comfortable being left alone.

I know leaving your pet with someone new can feel a little scary. No one can replace their human, but while they’re with me, my goal is simple: to make them feel safe, loved, comfortable and as at home as possible. I’m very happy to follow their normal feeding schedule, walks, medication if needed, sleeping arrangements and all those little habits that make them them.

And yes, I will absolutely send you photos and updates — probably more than you asked for 😂

Whether your best friend is a dog, cat, bunny, hamster, bird or another tiny creature, they’ll be treated as part of the family while they’re here.
