Hi! I’m Zanthy, a 23-year-old from Canada who recently moved to Melbourne. I’ve been surrounded by animals my whole life and have always had a special love for both dogs and cats. Back home in Canada, I have three cats and one dog who I miss very much, so spending time with animals here in Melbourne brings me lots of joy!

I’ve cared for pets for many years and understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy, responsible and loving to look after them. I’m happy to help with pet sitting, dog walks, playtime, feeding, toilet breaks and check-ins. I’m comfortable with dogs and cats of different personalities, ages and energy levels, and I’m very patient when getting to know a new pet.

When caring for your pet, I’ll always follow their usual routine and any specific instructions you provide, whether that involves feeding schedules, medication, exercise requirements, favourite walking routes or anything else that helps them feel comfortable and at home. I’m also happy to send regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away.

I’m very attentive to pets and their behaviour, and if anything unexpected or concerning were to happen, I would stay calm, contact you straight away and follow your instructions. If veterinary attention was needed, I would make sure your pet received appropriate care as quickly as possible.

As a Canadian, I’m used to walking my dog in all kinds of weather — snow, rain or sunshine! I love being outdoors and regularly go on walks of an hour or more. I offer dog walks of up to 90 minutes and would love to give your dog plenty of exercise and enrichment. Living in South Yarra means I’m close to beautiful walking areas, parks, the Botanical Gardens and the river, so there are lots of great places to explore.

I live in an apartment in South Yarra with a park right next door and the Botanical Gardens nearby. I go for long walks every day, so I’d be very happy to have a dog join me! For boarding, our living room is quite spacious and we’re not located very high up, making it easy to take pets outside regularly for bathroom breaks and fresh air.
