Hi! We’re Rachel and James, a friendly and reliable Irish couple living in Melbourne with a lifelong love of animals. Back home, we have our own dog, Archie, and cat, Winnie, who we miss dearly, so we understand how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your pets while you’re away.

We’ve grown up surrounded by animals and have experience caring for dogs, puppies, cats, horses and chickens. I work fully remotely, meaning I’m home for most of the day to provide company, attention and cuddles. I love going for morning and evening walks, and we’re happy to adapt our routine to suit your pet’s needs.

We live in a clean, comfortable two-bedroom apartment with a secure balcony and aim to provide a safe, relaxed home away from home. We’re comfortable administering oral medications, such as tablets or liquid medication, and applying prescribed creams or ointments, provided you give us clear instructions. We’re also happy to reinforce basic training and maintain your pet’s usual routine.

As I work from home, pets will generally have company throughout the day. I may occasionally need to go into the office, so we’ll discuss this with you beforehand. On those days, pets may be left alone for up to 6–8 hours, depending on the booking, so we’ll only accept bookings where this suits your pet’s needs.

We’re happy to send regular photos and updates, and we’ll treat your pets as if they were our own, with plenty of love, patience and care. 🐾
