Me and my partner love looking after animals. While we are in Melbourne and away from our own family pets we have done lots of pet sitting and walking, and both work at separate dog daycares so have lots of experience managing dogs. We have also done pet sitting for animals requiring medication and monitoring, and have looked after anxious dogs also so understand how a gentle approach is the best way to calm and comfort these animals. When animals are more high energy we keep them entertained, give them treat puzzles and make sure they have been walked enough, we pets are more anxious or shy we give them time to adjust to us as new people, and when animals are older or slower we are patient and caring and let them lead. We build up trust with animals by allowing them to warm up to us, meal time and walking helps with this!

We send daily updates to owners, with pictures and messages to let you know how your pets have been!

We are usually up early, give the pets breakfast and hop off on a walk with them, play some games and have some relax time in the day then another late afternoon walk if needed, and dinner time.

We are from the UK and living in Melbourne, we have done sitting in the UK and whilst we have been here. We have done online pet first aid courses as part of our jobs.

We have looked after various breeds of dogs and cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, rabbits, tortoises - you name it!

We have also looked after a litter of German shepherd puppies, so very used to needy dogs!

We love dog walks almost as much as the dogs do! We will aim for two one hour walks, depending on the dogs needs and capabilities.
