My partner, Oliver, and I love dogs, and are missing my family dog, a bichon frise, who we had to leave in Georgia with my mum, when we decided to move back to Australia 2 years ago. Since then, we've found out about Pawshake and dog sitting and want to have the best of both worlds - taking care of dogs when we can, and being able to travel when we want.
Oliver, my partner, has a hybrid work arrangement, and can choose when to work from home, and can be super flexible with your dog's needs. I work nearby Monday to Friday, and we're generally available most weekends. We live near the Yarra on Chapel St, and have easy access to parks and ovals in our area which we'd love to bring your dog(s) to. We live in an apartment which doesn't have a balcony.
We have both grown up around dogs big and small, Oliver with a kelpie cross, a cocker spaniel, and my parents current greyhound. I also had a Saint Bernard alongside our family's bichon frise. We are both very active and love going on walks, but are also happy to lounge with any slothful dogs too.
