Hi! My name is Sharito, and I would love to be the person you can trust to take care of your furry friend. Animals have always been a big part of my life, and I have more than 20 years of experience caring for pets at home. I have grown up with dogs, cats, a parrot, a turtle, and fish, which has taught me that every animal has its own personality, needs, and way of communicating.

I truly love all animals, and I believe they deserve patience, attention, kindness, and respect. I have experience walking my own dogs, caring for their daily needs, feeding them, bathing them, taking them to the vet, training them, playing with them, and enjoying outdoor activities together like walks in parks, beaches, and trips. I have also helped care for my friend’s cats.

I understand that every pet is different, especially shy or anxious pets. Before caring for them, I like to ask owners about their personality, what they enjoy, what makes them feel uncomfortable, their fears, their favourite treats, and the best way to build their trust and make them feel safe.

I offer dog walking, house sitting, and drop-in visits to feed and care for pets. Dog walks usually last around 1 hour, and I can walk up to two dogs at the same time. I can care for small and medium-sized dogs, including energetic dogs who need extra exercise and attention. During my visits, I will follow their routine by checking their feeding schedule, food preferences, allergies, exercise needs, and whether they are comfortable around other dogs. I can provide walks, playtime, companionship, basic cleaning, and regular updates with photos and videos, so owners can see what we are doing throughout the day and feel reassured that their pets are happy and safe.

I am comfortable caring for pets with specific needs, including following medication routines and making sure they receive their medication during walks or stays when required. In case of an emergency, I will stay calm, look for the best solution, contact the owner immediately to explain what happened, and follow their instructions while making sure the pet receives the necessary care.

I am currently based near Flinders Street, Melbourne, and I can travel up to 15 km using public transport or walking. I am available every day with flexible availability. I provide care at the pet owner’s home, where their pet can stay comfortable in their familiar environment.
