I have loved dogs for as long as I can remember. When I was 8 years old, my family welcomed our first dog, and I grew up with him until he passed away at the age of 20. Spending so many years together taught me a lot about caring for dogs at different stages of their lives, from energetic younger years to the slower pace of a senior dog.

My family still has a dog, and I have also looked after my friends’ dogs several times when they needed someone they could trust. While I haven’t worked as a professional pet sitter before, I am very comfortable around dogs and genuinely enjoy spending time with them. I love the energy and happiness they bring — honestly, even just watching dogs explore and enjoy their walk makes me happy!

For dog walking, I want each walk to be enjoyable and suited to the individual dog rather than rushing through it. I am happy to follow your dog’s usual routine, walking pace and any instructions you provide. I will also make sure they have fresh water when we return and keep you updated after the walk.

As I don’t drive, I am currently focusing on dogs within walking distance of my area. This also means I can keep my bookings local and give each dog plenty of time and attention.

Most importantly, I understand how important it is to trust the person looking after your dog, and I will care for yours with the same attention and affection I would want for my own.
