Hi! My name is Pamela and I’m currently an exchange student living in Docklands while studying at RMIT. I have a flexible schedule with only a few classes per day, so I have plenty of time to give pets the attention, care, and company they deserve.

My motivation to become a pet sitter comes from my genuine love for animals. I truly enjoy spending time with them, caring for them, and making them feel safe and loved when their owners are away.

I also have previous experience caring for dogs in my hometown. I used to walk and look after the dogs in the private community where I live, as well as the pets of my parents’ friends. This helped me learn how to handle different personalities, sizes, and energy levels, and how to adapt to each dog’s needs and routine.

Back home in Mexico I have two Labradors and a French Bulldog, so I’m very comfortable caring for both active and more relaxed dogs. In addition, my family has a ranch where I’ve grown up surrounded by animals such as horses, cows, cats, turtles, and more. This has made me very confident, patient, and attentive when caring for animals of all kinds.

My routine with pets includes daily walks, playtime, feeding according to your instructions, and making sure they feel calm, safe, and accompanied at all times. I’m very attentive to their behavior and any special needs they may have.

For safety, I only accept vaccinated pets and I keep a clean, secure, and pet-friendly environment. I always follow owner instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, routines, and any medication if needed.

I’m also happy to send updates and photos so you feel at ease while you’re away.

I am very patient and I always adapt to each dog’s personality. If a dog is shy or nervous, I give them time, space and a calm environment until they feel safe and comfortable with me. If they are more active and playful, I make sure they have enough exercise, walks and playtime to keep them happy.

I am also happy to follow any specific routines, whether it’s for puppies that need more attention and structure, or older dogs that need a slower pace and extra care. I always try to keep their routine as similar as possible to what they are used to at home.

When pets stay with me, I make sure they feel at home by giving them a cozy, clean and safe space, lots of affection, and constant supervision so they feel relaxed and loved at all times.
