Hi, I’m Angela!

I’m a genuine dog lover and passionate about keeping our dogs safe, loved and comfortable all of the time. .

I offer personal, one-on-one dog care from my home, as well as dog walking and home visits. My aim is practical — to give your dog plenty of attention, companionship, exercise and affection while keeping them as close to their normal routine as possible.

My hands-on experience

I currently work with a dog rescue group and foster dogs of all ages, including puppies. Through this work, I help dogs adjust to home life and build the skills they need to thrive in their forever homes.

My hands-on experience includes helping dogs with:

● Developing healthy eating habits

● Establishing daily routines

● Toilet training

● Household manners

● Basic behaviour and body-language understanding

● Confidence-building inside and outside the home

● Positive socialisation and appropriate interactions

● Preparing for adoption and transitioning into their forever home

I have owned pets all my life and understand that every dog is an individual. Some dogs need time and reassurance to settle, while others are ready to play, explore and socialise straight away. I take the time to understand each dog’s personality, needs and comfort level.

I also have two resident dogs of my own. Nicco, my nine-year-old male Kelpie, and Freya, my 18-month-old female Staghound, who are both an important part of our home. Freya is a wonderful mum and both dogs help provide comfort, companionship and reassurance to the dogs who come through our doors.

I am also the designer and owner of an orthopaedic dog-bed business, which reflects my strong passion for dogs’ health, wellbeing and longevity. I care deeply about providing dogs with comfortable rest, appropriate support and a calm environment where they can feel safe and relaxed.

A little bit about my approach

Your dog is not just a pet, they are family and their wellbeing, safety and comfort is all that matters to me.

I take the time to understand each dog’s personality, and do what I need to make them happy, comfortable and feel at home while they are away from their home.

I’m happy to adapt to your dog’s individual personality, needs and routine.

I’ll keep you updated while you’re away with photos and texts, so you can relax knowing your four-legged family member is happy and being well cared for.

Your dog gets personal care, plenty of love and a home-away-from-home — and you get peace of mind - knowing they will be included into our family, our home and our hearts. 🩵

🏡 What I can help with - services I offer!

Dog sitting in my home — We are a vibrant, caring home environment offering acceptance of individual needs and plenty of love for every dog who walks through our door. Whether they want to socialise with other dogs, relax, learn basic commands, build confidence, receive reassurance or cuddle up, we can help. If your dog enjoys exercise, we include a 30-minute daily outing.

Doggy day care — available from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm, providing your dog with companionship, play, rest and plenty of care throughout the day. If you need additional hours and your dog is collected after 6:00pm or dropped before 7am, an additional $10 each hour will apply.

The standard daily rate applies for care from four hours and up to eleven hours. For bookings lasting less than four hours, an hourly rate of $10 per hour will apply instead.

If you require care outside these arrangements or need a different hourly service, please contact me before booking so we can discuss availability, suitability and the applicable rate.

Safe indoor and outdoor care — if your dog prefers to stay inside, we have plenty of resting and comfort zones, including a Crate and to head outside a large doggy door if they want to wander out into our secure, fenced rear yard. The front yard is a separate fenced area, allowing dogs to see the world pass them by, be separated when needed, depending on their individual preferences and comfort levels.

Dog walking — Walks are available in and around the Peninsula area, and within 10 km of my home. **A standard walk is up to 30 minutes long.

Home visits — feeding, toilet breaks, playtime, cuddles and companionship while you’re away. A standard visit lasts for 30 minutes.

Feeding & dietary requirements — I’m happy to follow your dog’s usual feeding routine and adapt to their individual dietary requirements. Whether your dog needs specific meal times, portion sizes, food preparation, or a particular diet, I will follow your instructions.

Puppy care & basic training — I can help reinforce positive behaviours such as sit, stay, recall, lead manners, toilet routines and good household habits.

Play & enrichment — If your dog wants to socialise with other dogs, needs mental stimulation or individual play we adapt to their needs.
