Hi! I’m June, an experienced and passionate animal carer who genuinely loves working with pets of all shapes, sizes, and personalities. I currently volunteer with the RSPCA and have two dogs of my own, so caring for animals is a huge part of my everyday life. Through both volunteering and personal experience, I’ve developed strong skills in handling a wide range of behaviours and temperaments — from energetic and excitable pets to nervous, shy, reactive, or more aggressive animals.

I understand that every pet is different, and I always approach animals with patience, calmness, and respect for their boundaries. Safety is my top priority for both your pet and myself. When handling reactive or aggressive dogs, I focus on reading body language, avoiding stressful situations, using calm handling techniques, and creating a safe environment where the animal feels comfortable and secure. I never force interactions and always adapt my approach based on the pet’s individual needs and behaviour.

I love helping busy pet owners who may not always have the time to give their pets the exercise, attention, or care they deserve. Whether you need someone for regular walks, pet sitting while you’re away, check-ins during the day, or basic grooming, I’m here to help make life easier for both you and your pets.

Services I offer include:

Dog walking (typically 30–40 minutes, with longer walks available if requested)

Pet sitting

Pet check-ins

Basic grooming

Feeding and fresh water refills

Playtime and enrichment activities

Exercise and mental stimulation

Cleaning living spaces such as crates, cages, litter trays, and bedding

I work confidently with both cats and dogs, and I’m also comfortable caring for birds and other small animals.

My goal is to provide more than just basic care — I want your pets to feel safe, happy, loved, and genuinely cared for while you’re away. I treat every animal as if they were my own and always aim to make their experience positive, fun, and stress-free.
