I have thought about pet sitting for some time. I am retired and consider I have time to devote to what I love - dogs. I spend much of my time with my two cavoodle dogs. We go to the beach every other day or go for long walks around my home area. I am very active and enjoy spending time outside with my dogs. I have spent time and energy settling my dogs who were handed into rescue when they were very young. They have attended dog obedience and enjoy a happy dog life.

My previous dog was a golden retriever who lived until he was twelve. I found Lukie as a puppy in a pet shop in Darwin. Love at first sight. He was a big friendly boy who loved every body. Unfortunately Lukie had arthritis in his hips and as his condition worsened so did his quality of life. Maybe this is what Lukie has planned for me - to love and care for other dogs as I did him.

I am a retired social worker and can be described as a self-confessed homebody with time to care for dogs.
