Hi, my name is Sophie! I’m a huge animal lover and currently a nursing student, so being reliable, organised, caring and attentive is really important to me. I’ve grown up around pets and have plenty of hands-on experience caring for animals, particularly dogs. I currently have two German Shepherds, Leo and Zeus, so I’m very comfortable with large and strong breeds as well as different personalities and energy levels. Caring for my own dogs has given me experience with feeding routines, walking, exercise, grooming, administering supplements and medications, monitoring changes in behaviour or wellbeing, and providing lots of enrichment and attention.

My nursing background has also made me very observant, patient and confident following specific care instructions and routines. I understand that every pet is different, especially older pets or animals with medical, behavioural or dietary needs, and I’m happy to take the time to learn exactly how you like your pet cared for.

For dog walking, I’m happy to provide walks of around 30–60 minutes depending on your pet’s needs, fitness and routine. During home visits, I can help with feeding, fresh water, playtime, toilet breaks, cuddles and general care, as well as giving your pet plenty of attention while you’re away.

I’m available around my university and work schedule and can discuss times that suit you. For house sitting, I’ll keep your pet’s normal routine as consistent as possible, keep your home tidy and secure, make sure doors and gates are locked, and provide regular photo and message updates so you can feel reassured while you’re away.

I’m happy caring for pets of different sizes, ages and personalities, and I’ll always treat them with the same patience, care and attention I give my own.
