Hi! I’m Evie, originally from New Zealand and currently living in Sydney. I grew up on a farm surrounded by animals, so dogs have always been a big part of my life. I really miss having dogs around every day, which is why I love spending time with other people’s furry friends.

I’m a very active person and love getting outdoors for walks and exploring new places. I enjoy taking dogs out for exercise, fresh air, and a bit of adventure — whether that’s a longer walk, a trip to the park, or simply some company and attention.

I’ve previously spent time living in France where I walked dogs for local families, which I absolutely loved. I’ve also regularly house-sat and dog-sat for friends and family over the years, so I’m very comfortable caring for dogs, following their routines, and making sure they feel happy, safe, and relaxed while their owners are away.

Availability:

I’m currently job hunting, which means I have great flexibility during the week for dog walking and daytime dog sitting. Once I’m back working, I’ll still be available for:

Weekend dog walking

Weekend dog sitting/day care

Looking after dogs when owners are away (discussed in advance)

I’m happy to pick up your dog and take them for a walk, then drop them home afterwards if you’re nearby.

My home:

I live in a dog-friendly apartment right it next to a dog friendly golf course. My flatmate also has a very sweet blonde dachshund, Wilfred, who is used to regular walks and plenty of attention. We regularly take Wilfred outside for toilet breaks and walks, and I’m very familiar with the routines with dogs!

A little more about me:

I’ve been around dogs my whole life and genuinely love their company. I’m patient, responsible, and attentive to each dog’s individual personality and needs — whether they’re an energetic pup who loves a big walk or a relaxed dog who just enjoys some company and cuddles.

Bonus points if your dog is a sausage dog (dachshund) — they’re my favourite! But I truly love dogs of all shapes and sizes.
