I’m a passionate and reliable dog sitter based in Romsey, and I absolutely love welcoming small to medium desexed vaccinated dogs into my home. As a full-time primary school teacher, I’m calm, organised and nurturing, and I bring that same gentle approach to every dog I care for. Please give me extra time to reply to messages during school hours. Your pet will be treated like family from the moment they arrive. I can have dogs stay with me during the school holidays when I am home more often, and during the regular school terms. Of course I'd be away from home during school hours during the school term.

My home is safe, clean and pet-friendly, with a small to medium sized fully enclosed grassed area for dogs to relax, explore and enjoy a peaceful stay. My fencing is 1.8m Colourbond, and there are plenty of trees offering natural shade in the yard. I have a undercover patio where dogs can relax and shelter. I have a pet door which allows dogs to enter in and out and this can be locked when needed. I’m all about creating a cosy, low-stress environment where your dog feels secure and loved. Whether your pup enjoys playtime, cuddles on the couch or quiet naps in the sun, I tailor their stay to suit their personality and needs. 

I have one tiny female cavoodle - her name is Winter and she's 4 years old. I have looked after many dogs, including a regular staffy. I cater for puppies as I have a portable puppy pen that can be utilised both inside and outside. Senior dogs are welcome and I am experienced at giving medications and injections. I have a great rapport with a number of the local vets, including Romsey Veterinary Clinic and there are many local vets who have 24 hour emergency care. I have teenage children that live with me 50% of the time. I have previously lived on a farm and cared for sheep, cattle and horses, as well as domestic animals such as dogs, cats, guinea pigs and rabbits.

Introduction of dogs - I introduce the dogs on nearby neutral ground with a relaxed, side-by-side walk, allowing brief, calm sniffing before heading into the home together. Dogs can be separated in different areas of my house when they need breaks.

I understand how important it is to know your dog is well looked after when you’re away, so I provide regular updates, photos and clear communication. My goal is to give your dog a happy, comfortable experience — and to give you complete peace of mind.
