Hi, I’m Georgie! I’m based in Melbourne and have shared my life with many pets. I offer gentle, patient care, with a soft voice, a kind touch and plenty of time for animals to feel safe.

During two years in Mexico, my partner and I cared for abandoned and rescued street dogs, helping them recover, regain confidence and prepare for adoption. Some were very unwell and needed medication and extra care. I also worked at a veterinary clinic on Saturdays during their free neutering programme with taking the dogs and cats vital signs after anesthesia.

This experience taught me the importance of patience, gentle handling, close observation and recognising when an animal may need additional attention.

Although I do not administer injections or provide specialised veterinary treatments, I am comfortable following detailed care instructions and supporting pets with their everyday needs.

I offer a welcoming apartment environment where pets are treated like part of the family. Their safety, comfort and emotional wellbeing are always my priorities.

Home Security & Pet Safety

I take pet safety seriously. I carefully manage access to doors, windows and balconies, keep potentially harmful items out of reach, and always use appropriate leads and equipment during walks.

My apartment is located in a secure building with 24/7 controlled access. Entry and exit through the main gates, lifts, doors and garage require an electronic security key, providing an additional layer of protection against pets escaping.

Pets are always supervised, and I take extra care when opening doors or accessing shared areas. My apartment provides a safe, comfortable indoor environment where pets can relax, play and sleep.

I aim to maintain each pet’s usual routine, including feeding times, walks, playtime, rest and any special care instructions provided by their owners.

Every pet has different needs, so I adapt activities to their age, personality and energy levels. This can include regular walks (30 minutes per day) supervised playtime (30 minutes) , enrichment activities and plenty of affection.

I also make sure pets have a comfortable, quiet place to relax and sleep, respecting their usual sleeping arrangements whenever possible.

For overnight stays, pets are always welcome to sleep inside my home. Owners are encouraged to bring their dog’s own bed, blankets or favourite belongings to help them feel comfortable and secure. Dogs are also welcome to sleep on the couch or on a comfortable mat.

I don’t leave pets sleeping outside on the terrace unless this is part of their usual routine, has been discussed with their owner and is safe and appropriate.

I only welcome a maximum of two pets at a time, ensuring each one receives plenty of individual attention, affection and personalised care. Your pets will be with me throughout the day, so they won’t be left alone while staying in my care.

When I stay at your home to care for your pet, I want it to feel just like having a trusted friend visiting — someone who genuinely loves animals and will treat your furry family member as their own.

I provide 24/7 companionship and supervision, so your pet won’t be left alone during my stay. I’ll follow their usual routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, cuddles and sleeping arrangements, making sure they feel safe, loved and comfortable in their familiar surroundings.

For overnight stays, my wife may occasionally accompany me, but only with your prior permission. We both love animals and understand how important it is to respect your home, privacy and personal preferences.

I’ll treat your home with the same care and respect as my own, keeping everything clean, ensuring doors and windows are securely locked, and following your household security instructions.

I’ll also send regular photos and updates so you can relax knowing your beloved pet is receiving plenty of love, attention and companionship.
