I’m a responsible and friendly 27-year-old from Portugal, currently living and working in Australia. I have a background in marketing and communication, speak fluent English (and Spanish), and value clear communication, reliability and respect for other people’s homes.

Animals have always been a big part of my life. I’ve had dogs since the age of 10 and caring for them has always come naturally to me. Over the years, I’ve looked after dogs and cats for family members and friends in Portugal, including daily routines such as feeding, walking, playtime and overnight care. I’ve also lived in a house in Perth where my housemate ran pet sitting and day care, which gave me hands-on experience with pet care in a home environment.

When caring for pets, I always follow the owners’ routines and instructions closely, as I understand how important consistency is for animals. I’m attentive to different personalities — whether a pet is energetic, shy or more independent — and I adapt my approach to help them feel safe, calm and comfortable. I’m confident with daily care such as feeding, walks, playtime and companionship, and I always prioritise safety during walks and home stays.

I enjoy an outdoor lifestyle and love walking in nature and along the beach, which fits well with caring for active pets. I’m calm, tidy and respectful, and I take pride in looking after homes as if they were my own.

I currently work on a blueberry farm and finish early in the afternoons (3pm and 2pm on Fridays), which gives me plenty of time and flexibility to dedicate to house and pet sitting. I truly miss my own dogs back home, and house sitting allows me to give other pets the same care, attention and affection. Personal references from friends and family are available upon request.
