About our services

We offer dog boarding and daycare in our home, with plenty of company, attention, walks and playtime throughout the day. We’re happy to follow your dog’s usual routine and can accommodate dogs with different energy levels and personalities.

We’re comfortable administering basic medication if needed, provided clear instructions are given. We’re also happy to reinforce existing training and routines, such as basic commands, toilet routines and settling, but we don’t offer formal professional training or grooming services.

We generally prefer to board one dog at a time, or dogs from the same household, so that each guest gets plenty of attention and feels comfortable in our home.

Walks

We’re close to a large park, the beach and the dog park at Grant Reserve in Coogee. Our usual walks are around 30–60 minutes, depending on the dog’s age, fitness and preferences.

We typically offer at least two walks per day for dogs who enjoy regular walks, with additional toilet breaks and outdoor time as needed. We’re also happy to adjust this depending on each dog’s normal routine. If a dog is older, anxious or simply prefers a quieter day, we’re equally happy to keep things relaxed at home.

How much time we spend with pets

We both regularly work from home, so there is usually someone at home with the dogs throughout the day. Pets are never left alone for more than three hours during boarding, and we can generally provide much more company than this.

Pet care fits naturally into our daily routine. We can structure our workday around walks, meals, toilet breaks, playtime and plenty of attention, and we’re flexible with pick-up and drop-off times.

Our availability varies around our work and personal schedules, but because we both work from home regularly, we can offer a high level of supervision and flexibility. We can’t promise that someone will be physically present 24/7, but we plan bookings around our schedules to ensure guest dogs are not left alone for longer than the permitted time.

Our home

We live together in a large, dog-friendly apartment. There are two adults in the home, myself and my boyfriend, and we do not currently have any pets of our own.

Guest dogs are welcome throughout the main living areas of our home and are encouraged to settle wherever they are most comfortable. We’re happy to follow their usual sleeping routine and can provide a comfortable sleeping space based on what they’re used to at home.

While we don’t have a private backyard, our apartment has access to grassed outdoor space and we’re surrounded by plenty of dog-friendly areas. We’re within walking distance of a large park, the beach and the dog park at Grant Reserve in Coogee.

We also have a car, so we can easily take dogs out for walks and adventures further afield, as well as help with pick-ups and drop-offs.

Our aim is to make dogs feel as comfortable and at home as possible. We’d love to build relationships with a few dogs and their owners and become their regular go-to sitters.
