Hi! I’m Taya, a 23-year-old dog lover from Canada with a genuine passion for caring for animals. I grew up with three dogs back home, so I’m very comfortable handling multiple dogs at once, each with their own personalities, needs, and energy levels.

I regularly take dogs on walks ranging from 30 minutes to 1+ hour, depending on their needs, whether that’s a relaxed stroll or a more active, high-energy walk or hike. I always make sure dogs get the right balance of exercise, attention, and mental stimulation to keep them happy and healthy.

I hold a university degree and will be starting my Master’s in Counselling this fall, which has strengthened my patience, responsibility, and understanding of behaviour—skills that translate really well into caring for pets. I’m attentive, calm, and reliable, and I adapt easily to different dog temperaments, including shy, energetic, or more senior dogs.

For home visits, I can help with feeding, fresh water, playtime, companionship, and keeping your pet comfortable in their familiar environment. I’m also happy to follow any specific routines or care instructions you provide.

Your dog’s safety is always my priority. I stay alert on walks, avoid unsafe situations, and in the rare case of an emergency, I act quickly and responsibly while keeping you informed. I also provide regular updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands.
