I’m Sam, a lifelong animal lover from the UK, currently travelling around Australia. I’ve always loved having animals around and would love the opportunity to look after your pets and give them plenty of attention while you’re away.

I grew up with dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rabbits and fish, and over the years I’ve also looked after pets for friends, family and co-workers. More recently, I’ve had some great house and pet sitting experiences while travelling around Asia & whilst here in Australia. In Thailand, I cared for two dogs for three weeks, in Japan I looked after a playful golden retriever for a month, and most recently in Melbourne I spent three months looking after two lovely cats. I’ve genuinely enjoyed every sit and would love to keep it going.

I’m a very active person, so I’m more than happy with energetic dogs who enjoy long walks and plenty of playtime but I’m also just as happy spending a quiet evening at home keeping a cat company.

I’m responsible, clean and respectful of other people’s homes, and I understand how important it is to know your pets are happy and safe while you’re away. I’m always happy to send regular photos and updates so you know how they’re getting on.

I’m comfortable caring for dogs, cats and smaller pets, and I’m happy to follow your usual routines for feeding, walks, general care and I also have experience in giving pets medication.

I’m new to Pawshake, but not new to looking after animals, so I'm happy to send over references from other apps that I've used.
