I’m a university student who has always loved being around animals, and I’d love the opportunity to look after your dog while you’re busy, at work, travelling or simply need an extra hand. I grew up with two dogs, a Pug and a Shih Tzu, so I’m familiar with the everyday responsibility, patience and care that comes with having dogs as part of the family. I’ve also volunteered with animals, including caring for stray animals and assisting with animal care during volunteer work. I’m happy to care for dogs of different ages and sizes, including puppies, and I’m comfortable following individual routines and instructions. I can help with feeding, fresh water, playtime, toilet breaks, walks and general company. I’m also comfortable administering pet medication when clear instructions are provided. For dog walking, I can offer 30- or 60-minute walks, depending on what your dog needs. For home visits, I can spend time feeding, exercising, playing with and checking on your dog while making sure they’re comfortable and cared for. I’m comfortable with dogs that are mildly reactive or have their quirks, but I’m not suited to dogs with severe aggression or behaviour that could put either of us at risk. I’m currently studying at university, so my availability varies around my classes and study schedule, but I’ll always be upfront about my availability and make sure I can properly commit before accepting a booking. I don’t offer overnight stays, but I’m happy to provide daytime care and regular visits. Most importantly, I know that leaving your pet with someone else can feel stressful. I’ll treat your dog with patience, attention and care, and follow their usual routine as closely as possible so you can enjoy your day knowing your pet is in good hands.
