Hi, I’m Toni 👋

I’m an ex-teacher turned silversmith with a lifelong love of animals — feathered and furred alike. We previously owned an 8.5-acre hobby farm in Victoria where we cared for alpacas, sheep, a pig, miniature ponies, horses (including agisted horses), over 60 chickens, plus our own dogs and cats. I also looked after our agisted pig and helped care for a renter’s three cats on the property.

We currently have two dogs (previously three and a cat), and I’m confident with feeding, daily care, and general animal management of dogs, cats, birds, ducks, chickens, turkeys, sheep, goats, pigs, cattle, horses, snakes and other reptiles.

I’m now based in Pomona, QLD, and have my own converted sleeper van, allowing me to comfortably house sit and care for animals on properties. I genuinely enjoy early mornings, farm routines, and spending time with animals in their own environment. I recently cared for a hobby farm with birds, turkeys, ducks, chickens, a pig and sheep for 7 days — and even assisted with greeting Hipcamp guests and collecting fees.
