Hi! I’m an ecologist with a degree in zoology (Honours) and a genuine passion for animal care. I’ve fostered animals in need through the Armidale Animal Shelter and share my home with two beautiful rescue dogs who love making new friends.

For over 10 years, I’ve also done house and pet sitting for a range of animals — from cats and dogs to even ferrets — giving me experience with a wide variety of personalities and care needs.

Animals have always been part of my life — I hand-raised cockatiels throughout high school, completed an animal conservation course in South Africa, and have cared for animals including birds, fish, mice, dogs, and even horses while working as a stable hand. I’ve also cared for captive native wildlife through my studies and volunteer work, giving me a deep understanding of animal behaviour, enrichment, and wellbeing.

Every weekend, my two rescue dogs go on an adventure — whether it’s a beach trip or exploring a new area full of fresh scents and exciting places to sniff. Visiting dogs are always welcome to join in the fun (if that suits their personality and owner preference!).

Your dog will be welcomed into a safe, loving home with plenty of attention, care and enrichment. I treat every animal as an individual and make sure they feel comfortable, calm and included — just like part of the family.
