I’m motivated to become a pet sitter because of my dog, Buddy. He’s an 11-year-old Maltese Shih Tzu and he continues to be my best friend and companion. I connect with pets emotionally because of their non-verbal communication. They communicate so much physically. I love the enthusiastic greeting when I come home. Like a friend, they’re always there for you even during a bad day. Recently, Bud had back surgery, and I have had to take care of his needs, giving him his medication, attending to his wounds, keeping him warm and giving comfort as needed. He’s part of the family, and I will treat your pet like family.
