Hi, I’m Jon. I’ve been housesitting on and off for almost seven years, with experience across Australia and the US, including Seattle and California. Over that time I’ve completed dozens of sits, ranging from shorter stays to long-term housesits lasting several months.

I have plenty of experience caring for both cats and dogs, including larger dogs and households with up to four dogs at once. I’ve also looked after farm animals and am comfortable adapting to different pets, personalities and routines. I enjoy spending time with the animals I care for, whether that means walks and exercise, playtime, or just having a coffee on the porch with some company.

I’m clean, tidy and organised, and I treat every home I stay in as if it were my own. I’ve always had positive experiences housesitting and have received great feedback from owners, particularly about the care I give their pets and homes.

My schedule is generally quite flexible, which means I can spend plenty of time at home with your pets. For longer sits, I usually send photos and updates around once a week, although I’m happy to communicate as often as you prefer. I can also provide references from previous homeowners I’ve housesat for.
