Hi! I'm João, and I've loved animals for as long as I can remember. I grew up in a family that always had dogs, and over the years we've shared our lives with around ten of them, from tiny companion breeds to giant dogs. Living with so many different personalities has taught me how to understand their needs, respect their boundaries, and make them feel safe and comfortable.

One of the most rewarding experiences I've had was rescuing a dog and caring for her for about three months while preparing her for adoption. During that time, I helped her settle into a routine, build trust, and regain confidence before she found her forever home. It was an incredibly fulfilling experience and confirmed how much I enjoy caring for animals.

I can provide walks, drop-in visits, day care, and overnight care, depending on your pet's needs. During visits, I'll make sure your dog has fresh water, is fed according to your instructions, receives plenty of attention and playtime, and, of course, lots of affection. I'm also happy to administer basic care and follow any specific routines or instructions you provide. I also welcome dogs into my apartment for overnight stays on Fridays or over the weekend. If your dog is comfortable in an apartment setting and is well-behaved indoors, they'll have a safe, relaxed environment where they'll receive plenty of attention, companionship, and care. 

Because my place isn't a big place, I prefer to have smaller dogs over, but I'm happy to look after big dogs elsewhere.
